In an era of short attention spans and quick fixes of entertainment, it is extremely easy for album artwork to be overlooked or underestimated by a musician. where once we were able to appreciate the success of engaging album art in its primal physical form, listeners now use digital format to enjoy music and also their favourite band's album artwork through a screen.
These shortening attention spans make it more paramount that the artist takes care of the visual aesthetic of their work. With an endless catalogue of musical options, you need something visually striking that'll grab the listeners attention.
